Thistle

Opened in 1999, it hasn't taken long for Thistle Golf Club to become one of the most renowned Grand Strand golf courses. Golf Digest awarded Thistle a pristine 4 star rating, and the traditions dating back to golf's Scottish roots are felt throughout. Thistle Golf Club is composed of three 9-hole courses Cameron, Mackey and Stewart and is situated in a classic links-style layout. Wide open fairways are guarded in spots by large water hazards and sprawling waste areas, so as much as you're tempted to rip it off the tee, accuracy is a must among the 27 holes of Thistle Golf Club.
