Coming back for its 34th year of golf and revelry, the Myrtle Beach World Amateur boasts 72 holes of net, stroke play from August 27- 31, 2018. The tournament features more than 3,300 golfers, all competing at the same time on over 50 renowned golf courses in Myrtle Beach. Dustin Johnson World Junior Championship
The Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship is back in its third year for another great exhibition of some of the most talented junior golfers in the game. Featuring boys and girls ages 13 to 18, this event will include 90 golfers from an impressive international field. The tournament will be hosted at The Tournament Plays Club of Myrtle Beach (TPC Myrtle Beach) from February 22-25, 2018, and it will give young players a PGA Tour type of experience, which will allow them to compete against other premier players from around the world.
Myrtle Beach Preseason Classic
Starting 2018 off in superb golf fashion, the Myrtle Beach Preseason Classic will take place from January 28 to 31, 2018 and offer 100 teams the chance to compete on three different courses to see who reigns supreme going into the 2018 season. The tournament is a 54-hole, two-person team event, which promises a fun but challenging experience for those participating. This event will also include flight prizes, random drawings, on-course contests and unforgettable golf camaraderie, as golfers play in beautiful Myrtle Beach, SC.
Hootie & The Blowfish Monday after the Masters Celebrity Pro-Am
One of the world's most renowned charity golf events returns to Myrtle Beach April 7-9, 2018 and brings together an outstanding group of contenders, which makes up one of the top Celebrity Pro-Ams in the country. Started by Hootie and the Blowfish in 1994 as a small charity event, Monday After the Masters has blossomed into an experience that has raised millions of dollars for children's educational programs, as well as the South Carolina junior golf program. This event includes silent auctions, practice rounds, a Masters viewing party, celebrity long-drove contest, and much more!
Palmetto High School Golf Championship
Taking place from March 29-31, 2018, the annual Palmetto High School Golf Championship brings together some of the best high school athletes in a competition that showcases the future of the sport. Played at True Blue Golf Plantation and Caledonia Golf and Fish Club, the Palmetto is a college-style event, featuring 54 holes, made up of an 18-hole qualifier and 36-hole stroke play. The event boasts of former winners who have gone on to the PGA, including Rickie Fowler and Harris English. Breakfast and lunch is provided on select days, and the championship will culminate with an awards ceremony.
